Seven Peaks

Yesterday, Val trusted me enough to bring little Eryn to Seven Peaks with me. I figured since Eryn loves the water so much and her mother doesn't, it would be the prime opportunity. Val was hoping to get a little sleep while her rambunctious two year old was away, but she also had a newborn to keep her awake. Eryn had so much fun going down the big slide with "da tubes" and playing in the kiddie pools. And she was very well behaved and had a lot of fun. Thanks Eryn for the fun day!

Me and Eryn

If Eryn had her way she would have gone down this slide the whole day. She would go up all by herself and I would catch her on the way down. She must have done it at least twenty or more times!

Crazy Weekend!

This past weekend was a crazy one for me and Chance. Between the holiday, my brother Ryan's wedding, my neice Brooke's blessing, and family at our house, we were really busy but had a ton of fun. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures of the wedding since Val already does a good job at that, but here is what I do have:

On the 24th of July, we went to the Spanish Fork Rodeo with Chance's family. Tammy and Jeremy were also able to come with us. It was a ton of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves!

Chance loves the babies..

Me and Allie chillin.

And finally, Ryan and Suzie!

Val was right, Ryan does make a lot of wierd faces!

Summer Fun!

This past week we were able to spend six days in beautiful Lake Powell. Every year Chance's family goes with their family friends the Bennetts. All of Chance's family were able to join us, and the Bennett's three daughters with their husbands and they each have two children, so it made for quite a crowd. It was hot, but the water was always there to cool us down. I was also able to have my birthday on the beach! We had so much fun wakeboarding, tubing, making sand castles, chilling, playing games, and being together as a family. I now have a nice tan, Chance says I look like a savage, but most importantly I have a lot of fun new memories to remember forever. Here are some pics for everyone's enjoyment.

Chance with our neice Sayla..she was so happy all of the time and esspecially loved Ottor Pops to cool her down. She is only six and a half months but she is a chunky monkey. :)

Makena joined in on our little party.

Awww...how tender

The boys' favorite game to play at Powell, horseshoes.

So Saturday night made for an interesting night. We played a game where you were blindfolded, had the Ipod so loud so you couldn't hear yourself sing let alone everyone laughing at you, and you had to show a great performance. We were all laughing so hard at times it is amazing I didn't pee my pants. Since I have shared Chance's embarassing moments with the world, he is making me put the video of me on the blog.

Sunday, my birthday, we had the opportunity to go to church in little podunck town. there were maybe five families that lived in the branch and the rest of the crowd were visitors. The boys just wore a white shirt and shorts. It was an interesting and fun experience.

All the family at church

They all threw a birthday party for me. It was so nice of them!

Chance surprised me with a pearl necklace and braclet, I had no idea...

Surprise number two occured when they all decided to spray me with silly string.

We went on a boat ride the same day, it was so beautful.

Chance is acting like he's so cool while jumping off the rock.So Monday, our last full day at Powell I finally got up on the wakeboard! I was so proud of myself!

Arizona Trip

So I know Jeremy and Kara already posted pics but I wanted to include some pics too of our Arizona trip. Chance was lucky enough to get a couple of days off so we thought we would be the first ones on the McCorristin side of the family to see little Curtis. He is growing and eating so much now, and he is adorable. We had a nice little vacation and are sad now to come back to the real world. We had fun at slide rock and just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. Thanks to Jeremy and Kara for the fun weekend!

The Colorado river...its prettier in real life. Arizona had an amazing way of completely surprising you with a change in scenery in just a few seconds.

Little Curtis in his swing..he loved his being in swing better than his Aunt Sarah's arms.

Me and Curtis..

Me and Chance overlooking the canyon..

Me and Chance and the baby...we wanted to take him home but Jeremy and Kara wouldn't let us. Darn....

Just Like Me!

So I never thought I could end up with such a perfect match for a husband. Saturday night Chance called me and said the transmission to his truck was not working and would probably have to be replaced. This of course, was frustrating, after all the issues with my car, and all the money we are spending on my teeth, ect. Plus we had just gotten new tires on the truck, courtesy of Sam. We talked about just maybe getting a new truck but wanted to wait until some things got paid off...So needless to say on Sunday he was going to tow the truck to his parent's house when they realized that instead of being in four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive, it had shifted into neutral when he hit a bump and his golf clubs hit the gear, shifting it into neutral, thus, his truck would not shift gears, ect. He was quite embarrassed and told me not to blog it, but I just couldn't help myself. It totally sounds like something that would happen to me! Needless to say, we are really glad his truck is working so we can run it into the ground before getting a new one. I love my husband so so much. Thanks for being the perfect one for me! :)

Smile for the Camera!!!

So after years of torture, I finally got my braces off! I still have to get the crown for my implant, but he made me a cool temporary tooth so it looks like I have a full set of teeth. I'm so happy and it was definately worth all the money it took to get me here.My orthodonist is really great and made sure he took the time to make everything was good. I just want to smile all the time. Anyways, this is mainly for Tammy who wanted to see my smile.
