We had a baby!!

After four months of marraige we proved to the world that it is possible to have a baby in that short of time!! We had a beautiful baby girl, born on Easter Sunday. Chance keeps resisting the name of Bunny Foo Foo to celebrate the day she was born, but we all think that its a great name. hehe. We are acually leaning towards Josie, but if you have any more creative ones let me know. My dad and brothers were able to come see it too, and then we played a mad game of baseball, where I discovered I was allergic to the new kittens born this week too. I looked like a Chineese woman by the time I was all through. I wish I would have gotten pics but I guess your imagination will have to do!

A New Member in the Family

So the Rasmussen family is pleased to announce an addition to their family....it is....I know you are excited....Jasper!!!

We all chipped in and purchased a miniture horse so the current grandkids maybe someday our kids can enjoy! I was a little skeptical at first of this horse, but as you can see from the pictures it is so stinkin cute! Its only a year old, but I don't think it will get much bigger. It will be able to carry 80 lbs on its back but the cool part is its able to pull up to 500 lbs, so we want to get a wagon that will pull all the grandkids..and maybe the grownup kids (hehe).


Chance is trying to ride it..I think its a little small to hold Chance! I think Chance scarred it for life cuz after we were done with this picture it pitched a fit and then it wouldn't come near me after that. I hope it forgets the trajic experiences by the next time we see him!

Jazz Game!

Me and Chance lucked out on Tuesday night to see the Jazz beat the Houston Rockets. The two best parts about it was first, it was free, except for the $3.25 water that I purchased at the game (I know, its ridiculous). And the really great part was that we were in the third row!! We were right by all the VIP people,that got drinks and candy and their very own personal little tv so they could watch replays. Even though we weren't in VIP seating, we still felt special. I have never had such good seats to any sporting event. And what made it even better was that we won! Go Jazz!

Spring Break

This past weekend UVU had Spring Break and Chance somehow managed to get a day and a half off work so we could take a little break from life. We went to St. George and camped, hiked, went to the temple, swam, and just chilled. We were sad to come back after such nice weather and come home to wind and rain and the real world, but it was fun.

Still Kids!

So Friday night we went to a place called Jump On It in Pleasant Grove. It was a triple date with Ryan and his girlfriend, and Andrew and some girl he asked, she was cool, but that is a given because her name is Sarah (Andrew tried about seventeen girls before he found one just willing to go with him...jk..well, not really, but still). I realized once again what a big kid I married...he was jumping like a wild man. After tag and a game of basketball monkey style, we also learned that we aren't getting any younger, we were beat. But we ended up having a little fun on the kiddie rides. We are both big kids. I love it, and I love my hubby!

Quick Update!

I know you all think we probably dropped off the face of the planet but I swear we are alive!!! married life is treating us very well and it is so nice to be together all the time...we both are staying very busy with school and work and other things, but we have managed to have fun together. I'm just ashamed of myself for not taking any pictures and so I don't have alot to show for my life. Some exciting things..we were able somehow manage second row tickets to Rascall Flatts, my favoirte country band, and now on the 24 of March we managed to get thrid row tickets for the Jazz game. We are excited! I will be sure to take plenty of pictures then! Other than that, we have just been doing crazy things like almost getting killed snowmobiling (jk) and being the crazy couple everyone tries to avoid! Jk... We are so blessed to have all that we have, our families, our home, and our love! We couldn't ask for more. I will also try and post wedding pics up as soon as I steal them back from my parent's house. Peace for now!

So honestly I never ever do these things but I couldn't help myself when Kara tagged me. Plus, this will give more room to my dull blog! hehe So let's begin with the questions..
1. What are your middle names? Mine is Diane and Chance's is Que, like the letter :)
2. How long have you been together? It will be a year on Feb. 24th
3. How long did you know each other before you started dating? umm..we kind of met and started dating at the same time, he was a really fast mover..if he had his way he probably would have kissed me the first day he saw me. JK!
4. Who asked who out? Well, Chance definatly made the first moves, but I actually asked him out on our first official date
5. How old are each of you? I am 24 and Chance is 22, yes i robbed the cradle.
6. Whose siblings do you see the most? Probably his, they are a really tight family and his mom can't stand to not see her children for more than a week
7. Do you have any children together? Well we haven't even been married two months so I don't think so, but I joked about it to my parents while we were dating, wasn't the best kind of joke. But no, no kids yet.
8. What about pets? Chance tried to convince me to let us have a dog, but we are too busy for one.
9. which situation is the hardest on you as a couple? Not seeing eachother as often as we want, too much work
10. Did you go to the same school? We both go to UVU, but he goes at night while i go in the day
11. Are you from the same town? Not really, he is from Spanish Fork and I'm from Idaho Falls, but I was living in Spanish Fork while going to school and that is how we met.
12. Who is the smartest? I'm more book smart, but I'm a blonde so he is definatly got the street smarts and common sense
13. Who is the most sensitive? I am definatly, I'm a girl, what can I say. Chance is very patient with me, esspecially when I'm PMSing. I just have the best husband ever. :)
14. Where do you eat out most as a couple? Lots of places, our favorite resteraunt to go to is the Macaroni Grill.
15. Where is the farthest you have travelled as a couple? The only time we have traveled as a couple is when we went to Texas in August
16. Who has the craziest exes? I never had any exes so its got to be Chance, he was a player in high school so he has plenty of them. hehe
18. Who does the cooking? I try,I do alright. When Chance cooks all we have are nachos and tortilla and chesse, his specialty. hehe
19. who is more social? Despite what he might think, I think Chance is more social. He keeps in touch with all of his old friends and hangs out with them regularly, and he makes all the friends at church. But I try to be social.
20. Who is the neat freak? I'm not a neat freak but I'm definatly better than Chance. He comes home from work and leaves his clothes everywhere. Anyone that knows him can vouch for that. But I still love him!
21. Who is more stubborn? I don't know, I think he would think I'm more stubborn, and I probably am
22. Who hogs the bed? I would like to think we both share it equally, but the truth is I probably hog the bed. Actually, we haven't had any problems with sleeping with eachother.
23. Who wakes up earlier? Chance wakes up at the butt crack of dawn. I work graveyards, so I'm up early, I just have never gone to bed.
24. Where was your first date? We went to Hard Rock Cafe with Jeremy and Kara and lisnted to the lead singer from Tonic rock away
25. who has the bigger family? I definatly have a bigger immediate family, but at a family get together he definatly has more numbers from all of his extended family. Mine just don't all live close
26. Do you get flowers often? When we were dating, ya, but not since we have been married. I'm hoping i will get some on Valentines Day!
27. How do you spend the holidays? We haven't quite figured that out yet.
28. who is more jealous? I dont know, we both really aren't jealous people
29. How long did it take to get serious? about three weeks, hehe.
30. Who eats more? Depends on the day. Chance definatly does eat probably more than me, but there are some days I can smoke him.
31. who does the laundry? Chance tries to help out, but I do most of it, I don't think he knows how to fold clothes. hehe
32. who is better with the computer?I am. Chance rarely usues it except for homework or to watch movies.
33. Who drives when you are together? Chance does, crazy and fast. The only time we really fight is when we are in the car together. hehe
