Don't get me wrong, I love being a nurse, but sometimes I really don't love the hours that come with it. Being married makes it even worse. I have only seen Chance for a half hour in the past 48 hours, and wont see him again till before the BYU game tommorrow (Go Cougars!). Our schedules are the exact opposite so when I get home he's already left for work and when I go to work he's on his way home. But for those of you who are wondering how my first night went, it went well. Alot of cute babies and the mothers were great too! I gave my first shot to a newborn, the Hepatitis B vaccine. I had my hand ready to poke but it took a second or two of convincing myself before I could follow through. It made me sad to know that I had just made the poor baby cry. :( Everything other than that was good and I think I'm going to enjoy my work. The people were really and welcoming too.
Chance, even if you don't read this, I miss you when you are away. You are the best part of me and I love you so much. Thanks for the wonderful nine months. Its been a bumpy ride at times, but its been so worth it. Love you babe.

Trying to save money, the key word is "trying"
Chance got a fifty dollar gift certificate to Outback Stakehouse so we decided to go on a date night last night. We were really excited when we only spent six dollars, just for the tip and we got an appetizer, two meals, and dessert. I was so excited that we had such a cheap dinner. So then we thought we would save money and go to the dollar theatre. When we got there we couldn't decide on a movie that we both wanted to watch, so then we decided to go home. I told him we should check the other dollar movie theatre out by Costco in Orem. He told me there was no dollar theatre there, and I insisted there was, so then we bet five dollars on it. To my disappointment I saw that the old dollar theatre had now turned into a Pirate World or something like that and there was now a new theatre close by. We debated going to see a new movie but then decided we didn't want to spend the money. He told me that instead of five dollars, he wanted to just get one new shirt cuz he felt like he didn't have any clothes. So then we went to Old Navy. He insisted that I buy something for myself too (I didn't resist too much) and to make a long story short we ended up getting alot more than just one shirt. So much for trying to be frugal. We laughed afterwards at the thought that we didn't want to see a movie cuz it was too expensive. But we did vow we would not spend any money on clothes till Christmas. hehe
So other news, school is still extremely busy for me. I have at least 3 maybe 4 15 page papers to write throughout the semester, two hour long discussions to lead, many presentations, a debate, and 90 hours of following a nurse manager. Not to mention I'm working full time. And I start my new job tommorrow so wish me luck! Chance is also working like crazy and taking night classes. Its surprising that we still manage to spend time together. But i guess that means we will never get sick of eachother, at least not yet anyways. :)

New Job!
So I'm excited to announce that I got the new job working on the Mother/Baby floor at Utah Valley Hospital. I'm excited and ready for the change. I will still be working nights which kind of stinks but I guess it is impossible for some nurses to escape.
Also I just wanted to show you pics of our horse and how big she is getting! She is a beautiful color too. I don't want her to change colors but she will most likely turn a whitish/grey. We went last night to play with her and Chance's sister's horse. Chance's sister's horse, Flame had never been ridden before and Chance was able to be the first one to ride it. It was quite interesting. Here ares some pics...

Where did the summer go?!!
I can't believe the summer is almost over and that in two days I will be going back to school...sad. I will be taking 15 credits and still working full time, so I thought I would write one last post before my life is over for a time. Me and Chance were able to spend one last weekend of relaxation at his cabin before all the craziness begins. I rode a horse for the longest I have ever done, two hours! I was pretty sore the next morning but it was worth it. With our baby horse Josie getting bigger and more beautiful, plus with another horse addition to our family (which we purchased from Chance's parents), Fancy, we decided to save up so I can get a new sadle for Christmas that actually fits me. We shall see what happens. Also, another update in my life..I am also hunting for a new job. I have heard word back from a couple of places, and will most likely be working at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. I had two interviews last week that turned out well, and one interview today. I will most likely be taking a postition in the Mother/Baby floor, so right after the babies are born I will take care of the babies and their moms. I will also float to the NICU. I am supposed to hear back in the next couple of days but they said I interviewed well! So many changes all at once, I don't know if I can handle it. hehe Chance will also start school on Thurs so we won't be seeing alot of eachother from now on. Sad. Other than all that, I am still very happily married and have the best husband in the world! I love you babe. Until next time...peace. :)

Seven Peaks
Yesterday, Val trusted me enough to bring little Eryn to Seven Peaks with me. I figured since Eryn loves the water so much and her mother doesn't, it would be the prime opportunity. Val was hoping to get a little sleep while her rambunctious two year old was away, but she also had a newborn to keep her awake. Eryn had so much fun going down the big slide with "da tubes" and playing in the kiddie pools. And she was very well behaved and had a lot of fun. Thanks Eryn for the fun day!

If Eryn had her way she would have gone down this slide the whole day. She would go up all by herself and I would catch her on the way down. She must have done it at least twenty or more times!
Crazy Weekend!
This past weekend was a crazy one for me and Chance. Between the holiday, my brother Ryan's wedding, my neice Brooke's blessing, and family at our house, we were really busy but had a ton of fun. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures of the wedding since Val already does a good job at that, but here is what I do have:
On the 24th of July, we went to the Spanish Fork Rodeo with Chance's family. Tammy and Jeremy were also able to come with us. It was a ton of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves!

Summer Fun!
This past week we were able to spend six days in beautiful Lake Powell. Every year Chance's family goes with their family friends the Bennetts. All of Chance's family were able to join us, and the Bennett's three daughters with their husbands and they each have two children, so it made for quite a crowd. It was hot, but the water was always there to cool us down. I was also able to have my birthday on the beach! We had so much fun wakeboarding, tubing, making sand castles, chilling, playing games, and being together as a family. I now have a nice tan, Chance says I look like a savage, but most importantly I have a lot of fun new memories to remember forever. Here are some pics for everyone's enjoyment.
Chance with our neice Sayla..she was so happy all of the time and esspecially loved Ottor Pops to cool her down. She is only six and a half months but she is a chunky monkey. :)

The boys' favorite game to play at Powell, horseshoes.
So Saturday night made for an interesting night. We played a game where you were blindfolded, had the Ipod so loud so you couldn't hear yourself sing let alone everyone laughing at you, and you had to show a great performance. We were all laughing so hard at times it is amazing I didn't pee my pants. Since I have shared Chance's embarassing moments with the world, he is making me put the video of me on the blog.

Sunday, my birthday, we had the opportunity to go to church in little podunck town. there were maybe five families that lived in the branch and the rest of the crowd were visitors. The boys just wore a white shirt and shorts. It was an interesting and fun experience.
