Baby bump!

Last night we went and hung out with Ryan and friends for his birthday and while we were there I finally took a baby bump pic! My tummy keeps growing every day. I feel move and kick all of the time now and I love every minute of it!!! Chance has felt her move a couple of times as well... I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be a mother in June. I already love our little girl, its amazing. anyways, enjoy the pics!

California and Disneyland!!

This past weekend we had the chance to visit the warm state of California! Chance's cousin was coming home from his mission so we all took advantage of the situation for a little fun in the sun! I met up with the rest of his family on Thursday after only getting two hours of sleep, so that day was spent mainly just getting sleep and hanging out with family. The next day we all went to Disneyland. We had given a day of service by making quilts for an organization, and as a result we all got a free ticket to Disneyland. It was well worth it and saved us some moola! I mostly took pitures of Disneyland. It was me and Emma's first time going and it was...well majical is a good word. :) Me and Chance definately felt like kids again and we can't wait to take our little girl in a couple of years so she can enjoy it too. Me, Chance, and Grandma Ras..Grandma Ras was no wimp when it came to the rides. She went on every single one including Space Mountain. And she loved it! there are not many 89 year olds willing to do that. Taking her on the rides was so much fun. His parents also took wheelchairs so they wouldn't have to walk around the park which made it so nice cuz we all could get on the rides faster than anyone else! They have a special line for the wheelchairs and with every wheelchair six people can ride with you so we never had to wait very long. It was awesome!

Saturday the girls went to the beach while the boys went golfing. It was alot of fun. We didn't actually go swimming, the water was freezing, but it was fun to chill and relax on the beach! Sunday we went to church and heard his cousin talk, and we were planning on coming home right after, but due to truck problems, we didn't come home till Monday. So we had another fun day spent with family. We were actually kind of glad cuz we weren't ready to leave California yet. :)

Projects!

With the coming of our new child me and Chance have both undertaken projects for our little girl Emma. We are excited to make something for our new little one. Chance is busy making a changing table. This is the start of it. He has cut out all of the wood and sanded it and now he just needs to put it together and then stain it, ect. We just purchased a crib this week so our little nursery has some real potential. :) And while Chance is busy with that, I have undertaken a project of my own: Emma's crib bedding. I am going to need some help from Chance's mom, but I really wanted to make her some cute cowgirl stuff.
This is the fabric I'm using to cover a bullitin board where I can hang pictures, ect....

And this is the cute fabric I found to make her crib quilt, bumper pad, etc....I also have some other fabric to compliment it for the crib skirt and other things. I have a feeling its going to turn out really nice! I can't wait to see the finished product. :)
