Its still a girl!

Yesterday I had my twenty week ultrasound! My mom was able to come with me since Chance had to work. Everything so far looks good. Based on Emma's measurements she could come slightly early but they are keeping my due date for June 11. She is so cute. We finally got a good profile picture. She was being a little stinker and didn't want to show us her face. My mom said she must take after her father who is also a little stinker. Anyways, here are the pics...Hope you enjoy.

Half Way There!

I have finally reached my half way mark! Wohoo! It feels like it has been forever, but I'm sure the rest of it will go by fast. Or at least I hope so. I am feeling Emma move more and more each day. It is the coolest thing I have ever felt in my life. I would not trade being a mom for anything in the world. I tell Chance all of the time that I feel her, I think he is a little jealous. :) He's tried to feel her too but with no such luck. I go in for my 20 week ultrasound on Tuesday so stay tuned for some pictures!

Battle of the Mommys and Daddys

So this past weekend I attended a baby shower for a boy. I got some boy outfits and learned that going shopping for little girls is much more fun. I couldn't help but get little Emma some clothes too. On one of the outfits was a little dress which said "Mommy's sweetheart." Chance got a little offended since he says we both know she is going to be a daddy's girl. :) So today he went and bought an outfit on his break at work that stated, "I love Daddy". I smell a little competition in the air. hehe. But since I'm the more responsible one in the relationship, I have come to grips that Chance will probably be the favorite of the two. While I will be trying to disipline, dad will let her get away with just about anything. Poor Chance will be wrapped around her little finger. Only five more months to go! Seems like forever. :)

New Years and others stuff...

So it hit me today how wierd it will be when Chance goes back to school on Wed. and I don't! I have been going to school for so long I could be a doctor by now. hehe I am definately going to have a lot more time on my hands. Here are some things that I hope to do with my spare time and some new years resolutions I guess you could say.
1. Finish all of the Work and the Glory books. A summer back I had almost made it, I got to the ninth book and then school started and I never had a chance after that. So I'm starting over! Just started the first book last night!
2. I'm not a Harry Potter kind of person, but Chance has convinced me to read all of the Harry Potter books. I may as well see what they are all about. :)
3. Get started on our little girl's room! We are thinking about doing a cowgirl theme...but who knows. June will come before you know even though it seems so far away right now. We made our first investment the other day and bought a car seat and stroller. I'm begining to realize how expensive kids are. Chance told me the other day, "I realized that my life is about to get really pink really fast" hehe.
4. This kind of goes along with goal number 3 but I would like to be more crafty and make some things of my own. And this will be very possible with a baby on the way.
5. Take more pictures! My blog is always lacking but I have decided to make sure I record the memories.
Thats about all for now but I think it will keep me pretty occupied. Now I just need to learn not to be such a bum. Working graveyards and being pregnant=one tired little lady. :)
